Questions restaurants ask
What happens after 30 online bookings on Free?
Online booking pauses until the 1st of next month. Your page stays up and shows your phone number, so guests can still call. Bookings you take by phone never count, and moving to Host reopens online booking straight away.
Do you take a commission or charge per cover?
No, on any plan. A table booked through Mensa costs you nothing on top of the monthly price, whether the guest came from Mensa, your own site, Instagram or a QR code.
How does the free trial work?
Host and Full House are free for 60 days, with no card and no setup fee. We set the trial up with you when your restaurant joins.
Can I pay for the year?
Yes. On Host and Full House a year costs the price of 10 months. Talk to us and we'll invoice the year.
How is Group priced?
Every group is quoted on its brands and locations, so two groups that look alike pay the same. Most networks land between 100,000 and 200,000 AMD a month.
Which messages do guests get?
On every plan, guests get their booking confirmation and a reminder by email. Full House and Group also text every guest. On Free and Host, a guest who left no email is texted instead.
What is priority placement?
When diners search Mensa, restaurants on Full House and Group come first among equally good matches: ones that match the search as well and are rated within the same half star. A restaurant that matches the name better, or is rated a half star higher, is never put below one that pays, and search says placement is in use.
Can I set up my tables on Free?
Yes. Setting up your tables and room is free, because bookings run on them. What Free leaves out is the live service: the floor plan during service, table management, walk-ins and the waitlist.
